RVSHARE.com
We're living in the shared economy.
Amanda found Ken on rvshare.com. He picked us up from the airport and drove us back to his house in Albuquerque.
We met Michelle and the kidz. He gave us a quick tutorial on his 31' Class C that he bought in April and after some paperwork, we waved goodbye for 8 nights.
What can be lost on the shared economy are the shared stories that underpin the transactions.
We share pictures, videos, beds, planes, RVs, etc but maybe if we shared more stories w the parties in these transactions, we'd realize the real benefits of our shared economy.
Anyway, we didn't have much time to futz around in NM as we had over 300 miles to cover before we got to Flagstaff, AZ for our first night.
We got to bed late and with the time change, Link came in around 5am and Riley supported him claiming it was 8am our time.
We've actually been to this KOA in Flagstaff so we picked up our coffee and breakfast from the same spot on campus, bounced on the pillow for a minute and headed through the desert on our way to Lake Powell.
Lake Powell is bisected by Utah and Arizona and is like the 2nd largest man made lake or something.
We got on a short 90min cruise through its channels but all we could really feel was the heat. It's f&@kin hot out here.
Looked at my phone today and:
After Lake Powell, we got back on the road headed to Zion National Park where we are now.
There's real cowboys out here. Rattlesnakes, tarantulas & coyotes too.
The conditions can be harsh in Southwest USA, but we're looking forward to our hike through the Narrows tomorrow and even more so, to meet baby Remy and stay w The Roseman's for 2 nights in Las Vegas.
Thank you Mommy for planning another adventure. These logistics are no joke.
