HEAVEN ON EARTH

Sawas dee (Hello) from The Aleenta in Phuket, Thailand, actually in Ko Phanga just north of Phuket. Let me first say I am not easily impressed, but this resort, not even yet completed, is beyond words. Only fifteen suites (Amanda and I are two of 3 people here right now) with beauty that is again without words. And just as I'm not easily impressed, I also do not often feel guilty, but at one point I said to Amanda "I feel guilty" - I don't know why, but I just felt it. Thats how ridiculous this place is. Tonight is our second night, tomorrow we go rafting and elephant riding, and yesterday we had a 1 hr foot massage. I won't even go any further.

Lastly, all this would not have been possible without my boy Lanny Grossman who runs the show at Small Luxury Hotels of the World (slh.com) and was instrumental in booking the Romance Package for us. Check em out, book with them and tell them that Lanny is the best. They got hotels all around the world.

Below is the link to our pics on Ofoto - copy and paste. Hope it works.

SAFETY IN NUMBERS

To the 195 adults, 7 children and the countless Radisson staff and wedding vendors, we want to one last time sincerely thank everyone for making our wedding weekend everything we could of ever dreamed. And for those that weren't in attendance, but are still a part of our lives, we hope to share pictures and watch videos with you in the near future.

As far as us, today we're getting our last minute preparations done for our trip including finishing up some thank you notes, depositing some checks, returning some borrowed jewelry (Amanda's earrings), sending in our marriage license, and getting some more movies and TV shows on our iPod.

Anyone that isn't feeling loved, if at all possible, we recommend having a big wedding because never before have we felt so loved and cared for. And the best part is, the feeling is mutual. And for the family of one special reader, my favorite baseball team has quickly become the Washington Nationals. Enjoy the pictures (i hope the links work, copy and paste).
