Can't stop. Won't stop.
On our off day at Zion Ponderosa, Baby boo turned her right ankle on her good foot. Short story - sprained ligaments, crutches, 4-6wk recovery.
She was on the mini golf course w the boyz. I was in the house car when Riley came in and said Mommy fell. Fuck.
So we rented a golf cart from the resort. Can't believe they charged us full price.
We continued that day w some ping pong, rock climbing, trampoline and swimming.
Next morning, ankle stiffened bad.
Destination was still Zion National Park to hike the Narrows, but we worked in a trip to Zion Medical Center where Link stayed w Mommy and Riley n Daddy took two shuttles in brutal heat to fulfill Rileys quest to hike through the cold river water 400ft inside a canyon.
Hope you liked that Ri. I thought it was overrated.
They say the show must go on so w an ice pack, ace bandages and an air cast, we pushed our motor home about 200 miles west through barren desert to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Road trips are cool but lifelong friends are cooler. And babies help heal.
Thanks to Reg & Angie, Cameron, Brooks and baby Remy for providing us shelter and a safe haven to help nurse our matriarch back to health.
We're adapting w a new wheelchair from Walmart to soften these next couple nights as we hit the Strip tonight and then hit the road tomorrow for the Grand Canyon before we head to the Ghost Ranch for Lauren & Adam's wedding.
Memories come in all shapes and sizes.
