Beautiful British Columbia
That's for sure.
We arrived in Vancouver via Seattle in a nice greyhound type bus. Easy ride, empty bus, just a couple hours including a stop at the border. Of course, a bathroom in the back for Boo.
Vancouver is sexy. Lotta flare.
Big City with inspiring architecture.
We enjoyed a long bike ride through Stanley Park where i hauled the boyz on the back of my bike while Amanda rolled behind us keeping us in line.
This seawall path that Vancouver planned along the water front is incredible.
Just as we were settling into a coddled hotel life at the Four Seasons, it was time to get in the cab to go about an hour to Langley, British Columbia to pick up the RV.
Although we did this a few years ago, the reality of pushing this motor home thousands of kilometers over the next few weeks sets in.
Absolutely worth it though once we got on the road to Whistler where we are now for 2 nights.
The 3hr drive was "stunning" as Mommy kept saying. It really was though. Massive bodies of water interrupted by lush mountain peaks. Layer upon layer.
On the way up, we made a spontaneous quick stop to brave the suspension bridge in North Vancouver that was on our list to maybe do. It was aight. Woulda been better if it was free.
Nonetheless, the first night in the house car is behind us.
Leaving Vancouver and Whistler, both literally Olympic cities, makes us feel like we've already won the gold.
Canada Day (our July 4th) coming up on Wednesday.

SEATTLE
The city of Seattle is divine.
Seattle is fully integrated.
Tourists coexist with residents. Historical contexts make
way for modern innovations.
As soon as we flew over the City into the airport, I knew
this was gonna be a cool City. On the way to the hotel, we drove past the
Seahawks and Mariners stadiums, both with retractable domes (I think). Heavy
industrial look adapted so well into this waterfront port City.
Our hotel was within blocks of the Space Needle, which we
could also see from our room. Really cool to witness firsthand. Had we not had
to stop at the doctor the next morning, our first morning, where little Lincoln
ended up with strep, we would of headed straight to the top of this
international icon built for the World’s Fair in 1962 and modeled after a
cocktail shaker.
Lucky for us, Amanda’s parents joined us in Seattle for
our two nights there. We had a blast.
Uber ushered us through this progressive and tolerant
City. We checked out the Pike Place market, an absolutely incredible scene of
vendors slinging fresh fish, veggies, fruits and more. Located across the
street from the first Starbucks ever (something I had to see), the Pike Place
market cant be missed.
The neighborhoods were lined with good stuff everywhere.
National retailers, local bars and restaurants, cultural attractions and plenty
of cranes in the air validating Seattle’s demand for more.
Pearl Jam, Amazon, Starbucks, Boeing, Nordstrom,
Microsoft all embody the brand of this City. The Seahawks and Mariners characterize
its winning culture and reputation. It’s a shame the Supersonics aren’t around
anymore – still not sure what happened there.
This family right here are big fans of Seattle. Look forward to coming back.
